Private Educational Psychologist services for parents

I am very happy to be contacted directly by parents. You may have concerns about your child’s learning, behaviour or social interactions. I have worked with children and young people with a range of needs including:

Educational Psychologist Assessment

Any piece of work will begin with a telephone conversation to discuss your concerns in more detail and for me to get a sense of how I can help. We can agree what the assessment will include (normally a meeting with yourself and relevant staff from your child’s school, some observation of your child and some direct assessment with your child, followed by a report) and what the fee will be. If you are happy with that, I will ask you to complete a form with some basic information about your child and your concerns and we can then arrange an appointment.

An assessment visit may include some or all of the following: a meeting with school staff and parents, observation of the child in class, and direct assessment work with the pupil.

Educational Psychologist Report

After I have completed the assessment visit, I will write the report and send a copy to you in the post. I will aim to send the report within two weeks of the appointment. It will be up to you to choose who you share the report with and you are welcome to contact me if you have any questions.

Feel free to contact me to discuss your concerns in a no obligation discussion.
